CLIENT LIAISON OFFICER – FINANCIAL SERVICES CAPE TOWN, WESTERN CAPE
A prominent financial services provider has an exciting career opportunity available for a CLIENT LIAISON OFFICER – SHORT TERM INSURANCE, to join their dynamic business team in Somerset West, Western Cape. This is a permanent position which offers a market related salary with a lucrative commission structure.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum matric, with a tertiary qualification advantageous.
Minimum RE5 certification and NQF level 4 qualification is essential to the role.
Applicable Classes of Business certifications in short term insurance products and its’ relevant disciplines as per the FSCA.
Minimum 7 years’ applicable experience in the financial services / wealth management industry.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with an in-depth knowledge of short-term insurance, including but not limited to short term insurance personal lines, commercial lines and related products.
Strong and proven experience in customer care, business development, networking and prospecting and financial compliance with a well-networked clientele.
Proven business success (new business) as “hunter” whilst successfully delivering in a target driven environment.
Proven and successful track record in key account management whilst simultaneously managing a variety of clients.
Solid experience and logistical knowledge of the Western Cape Province as business landscape.

The ability to manage and perform independently.
Tenacious and driven.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans: speak read and write. Fluency in Zulu and Xhosa highly advantageous to the role.
Fully competent in the MS Office programme, with strong experience in report writing.
Trustworthy and ethical with a strong sense of accountability.
Valid driver’s licence with own reliable transport essential.
